Artistic Director and Choreographer
Surbhi Raninga is an accomplished Bharatanatyam artist, choreographer, and Artistic Director of Surbhi Kalavrund, with a deep-rooted passion for Indian performing arts. With over 26 years of rigorous training in Bharatanatyam and more than 16 years of teaching experience, she has dedicated her life to preserving and sharing the richness of Indian classical and contemporary dance forms.
A dynamic performer and visionary creator, Surbhi has showcased her artistry through numerous solo and group performances across 15+ locations throughout the GTA and Niagara region, captivating audiences with her expressive storytelling and strong stage presence. Her work seamlessly blends tradition with innovation, reflecting both authenticity and creative evolution. In addition to her achievements in dance, Surbhi holds a Master’s degree in Bharatanatyam and Bollywood dance, along with a Bachelor’s degree in Indian Classical Vocal Music. Her multidisciplinary expertise, combined with her experience in theatre and event direction, brings a unique depth to her teaching and productions.
Through Surbhi Kalavrund, she continues to inspire a new generation of artists, fostering not only technical excellence but also a deep cultural connection and love for the arts.
